Career Highlights
Gordon is a strong, athletic, and versatile wing who possesses the prototypical NBA body.  His size and strength make him a weapon at both the small forward and shooting guard positions. Gordon has good size for the wing position and is very aggressive offensively, using his length and body to go inside against smaller players.  At the same time he can step out and knock down the NBA three point shot.  Gordon possesses a good midrange game and has polished moves going to the basket.  Gordon is a natural scorer who can score from anywhere on the court, but he also is a solid rebounder.  Gordon was in the 2009 NBA Draft.  Gordon is getting strong consideration from several teams because he is a lock down defender who uses his strength to guard opposing shooting guards, small forwards, and even at times the power forward.  Gordon is not scared to do the dirty work on the defensive end and takes pride on being a defensive stopper. Gordon is very level headed on the court and never tries to do too much or get out of control.  He has a great feel for the game and has tremendous work ethic.  Gordon is a multifaceted player who will do whatever it takes on either the defensive or offensive end to help his team win.

In 2008-09 Gordon Watt  was named to the Division I First Team All-Independent Men’s Basketball Team.  Watt earned First Team All-Independent honors after leading the Huskies in both scoring and rebounding.  The 6-6 wing averaged 17.2 points and 8.8 rebounds per game.  Watt finished the year with 11 double-doubles and reached double-digits in scoring in all but four games.  He shot 44.6 percent from the floor and also recorded 51 assists, 47 steals and 17 blocks.   Watt was named to the All-Tournament Team of the SMU and Utah State basketball tournaments.  In his junior season Gordon led the Huskies in scoring (16.4) and rebounding (8) and also averaged 2.8 assists per game.  Gordon transferred to Houston Baptist University from Purdue where he started 33 games.  He averaged 7.1 points and 5 rebounds per game (ranked 4th on team in scoring and 3rd in rebounding).
